Here it is! DIY enthusiasts will love this. Even if you don’t have a lathe, you can easily round wood with just a few simple tools. There’s no need to waste time or money buying a lathe, especially if you only need to shape wood for a few projects, not all the time. This method is a perfect solution for your DIY projects.
Use a marker to draw two lines on all four sides of the wood pad, and mark the spot where you want to drill a hole for making a lathe.
Start by drilling a small hole at the intersection point, then gradually enlarge it to a certain depth without going through the wood. After that use a smaller drill bit and drill the same hole again until it goes through the wood
Use a marker to make an intersection point on one side of the wood pad where you want to drill a small hole. Ensure that the size of the screw matches the hole to provide a secure grip while shaping the wood
After inserting a screw into the hole, Don’t forget to screw it in until the tip protrudes from the surface of the wood a bit. Then use a clamp to secure the wood that we prepared against the edge of the table to get ready for shaping the wood
Place the wood piece you want to shape onto the drill instead of the drill bit. Then, turn on the drill and insert the rotating wood into the hole drilled in the turning plate you prepared. Gradually feed it in until the wood takes on a cylindrical shape, then sand the surface with sandpaper to refine the details

AT-TAH-FOUND (ATTA-found) is derived from the word “ATTA” (AT-TAH), which is commonly exclaimed by Japanese people when they are searching for something they cannot find. When they finally find the item, they exclaim, “Atta!” This expression of relief and discovery inspired the creation of this website, ATTA-Found.com.
