A chemical anchor, which comes in the form of a glass tube filled with chemical adhesive, has exceptional bonding strength. The chemical adhesive inside the glass tube functions like a sticky glue and dries quickly when applied. The use of this type of anchor starts with drilling a hole in the surface material, such as concrete. The chemical anchor is then inserted into the hole, followed by drilling a screw or steel rod into the glass tube. As the screw or rod is driven in, the glass tube breaks and releases the chemical adhesive. This adhesive tightly bonds with the material inside the hole, allowing it to support a significantly higher weight compared to traditional anchors.
